Founded in 1988, the national
Rebuilding
Together is the largest volunteer home rehabilitation organization in
America.
Each year, 275,000 volunteers all over our nation tackle the sagging
roofs, leaky pipes, shaky railings, peeling paint and rotting steps that
plague low-income homeowners who don’t have the means to fix these
problems.
Using materials, supplies and equipment donated by corporate sponsors, and
with financial support from businesses, organizations and individuals,
Rebuilding Together volunteers work toward their goal:
To assure that homeowners who qualify for our assistance live in
warmth, safety and independence.
